I have been beset with old age today. I woke up with my right elbow aching and it has spread to my forearm and shoulder. I can't recall doing anything at all that would have caused me to have these particular aches so I can only conclude that it is old-age settling in to my bones.

I have a sinking feeling I'm going to wimp out of going to see Kayo Dot. I just can't handle late night concerts. I don't even like concerts that much any more. Even when it's Toby. I'm too old for that crap. I should just grab my Sting CDs and get on with my golden years.

Never seen them before. And they're high on my list of bands I would like to see, too.
If I had a friend to go with me, at least maybe then I could have something to do while everyone stands around for 3 hours waiting for the show to start, without falling asleep. I learned my lesson at the Ariel Pink show there last year.

You should definitely see them then. You will just regret it if you don't. You may just need to take a nap in the car before the gig in order to make it through the gig.

I feel ya. I'm not even old and I feel too old to go to concerts. I'll probably wimp out of seeing Mogwai I wish Kayo Dot was coming to Austin so I could wimp out of that too

I'll give it some more thought. I appreciate the encouraging words. Weeknights are tough for this sort of thing, because I get up so early. Even if I take the next day off from work, I still have to get my daughter up and get her ready for school.
