Hopefully long enough for Detroit to play the Packers on Thanksgiving without him. I know I shouldn't hope for anyone to be injured, but dammit, I want to win the division badly. And after the Bears beat them tonight, the North is jammed at the top with three teams at 5-3. |
The NFC North decided to have a party, but the Vikings weren't invited.
Seriously though, I thought the Packers were going to pull that one out last night. It'll be interesting to see what happens in that division over the next month or so.

If Detroit doesn't take advantage and rack up some wins, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. They certainly have a talented enough team to do it, but what about brains? They always seem to beat themselves when it matters most.

Honestly, I thought the problem with Detroit was some glaring holes they have. Like there's no one really outside Megatron, though the addition of Bush helps. And their defense isn't too good, but they can really get pressure so it covers it up. I mean it's still Stafford throwing to Calvin, and no one cane stop it

They have other receivers besides just Megatron. Guys like Ogletree and Burleson stand out to me. Their secondary is the one that has issues, but their front 4 is great at getting pressure. Hmmm...I feel like I'm talking about another team I like....
When we played them, the moment I keep remembering is Megatron catching a touchdown pass under triple coverage. The way he did it made it look like we could have had our entire defense on him, and he still would have come down with the ball.

Yeah he's a freak no way around it.
No idea how are awful ass secondary is gunna keep him under 400 yards and 5 TDs
Also, our line is looking better, but it's still not very good and Im worried about Detroit. Suh, Fairely, all their other pass rushers. We'll be eaten alive. I kinda hope Incognito really isn't too bad a guy and was following coach orders (even if he took it a bit far) because as long as he's not toxic...he's a pretty good lineman andI'd not mind having him, if he can not be a f**ker. Which has eluded him since college so probably a bad idea

And probably the reason we won that game was because our O-Line kept their front 4 away from Dalton. That was huge!

True. And we have one of the best pass protection blockers in the game in Whitworth (if not the best), so that always helps.

Anyone have any interests in tonight's game? I'm fully expecting an easy 'Skins win, so I'll probably be reading or doing something else instead of watching.

A Vikings win would be nice, but otherwise it's a solid don't-care.

I don't want the skins to win. I don't want to skins to look good.
Aside from mandatory divisional hate, I really don't care.

Overall, a very enjoyable game to watch.
All the better than the Redskins lost and that AP gave a fantasy team a good head start.

Wow, Giants suck ass. I mean we knew this but god damn. At least Andre Brown is back and running like he did last year, huge boost, and finally someone held onto a TD pass... Of course they've done what they've done all year...negate any good play with stupidity. 2 fumbles... Also Eli seems to be regaining his old "Plaxico-itis" except now it's Victor Cruz. This is why NFL is great. Even the "bad" teams have talent (except maybe Jacksonville) St Louis up 28-0 on Indy! This also shows why fans have to accept results and not play the "BCS" game. Well x beat y who beat z etc etc Love it.

I thought the Seahawks looked good today, both sides of the ball.Got some key players coming back and a lot of depth.

I'm certainly rooting for the Lions to take the North.
