Try listening to your 11 year old granddaughter's music......I have to go in the basement to avoid hearing Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Katie Perry, ,,,etc.

Mine is a Taylor Swift maniac these days...before that it was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and the soundtrack from Grease over and over

Think this should be good for now.
Why may I ask do you have to listen to it?

I work in a grocery store where the muzak is constantly spewing out nothing but crap. It's quite maddening. Good songs are few and far between (Gabriel, Kate Bush, Rolling Stones, Genesis, Asia, Yes, Chicago....) but it's all of the commercial and popular singles.

^ Sad, isn't it......
......believe me, I've thought of sabotaging the main-frame where the muzak is generated from within our shop (I'm constantly turning it right down ) but there's no way I can stuff it completely without screwing with the P.A. (which is a rather important tool in the shop for paging staff). Foiled again

^ For the miniscule amount of sanity I have left, I do block it out most of the time. But sometimes these obnoxious little pop-stars (Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Pink) are so 'in-yer-face' it makes my blood boil. Here's another - Nickelback. They've gone from bad to worse. Now they are aiming at the early-teen crowd......

I recall the day I was doing the grocery shopping when the Muzak system played "The Ballad of John and Yoko"...when the "The way things are going, they're gonna crucify me" section came I couldn't stop laughing

I kinda hate you for saying this. I work in a retail store and the radio station we have to play brags about not changing its playlist while simultaneously claiming to be the most diverse music selection available.

Did Nickelback ever change?
To these ears it genuinely sounds like they've continued to make the same song for about 10 years.
