WOW. What a game. Shame the Pats are gunna win. Saints really blew this game with all their drops and mistakes. Oh also looking like you weren't even trying on defense when it mattered most. Defender wasn't even facing the right way.
Well kudos to Brady, made the winning throw. I really thought that bad pick he threw was the end but he got it back and did what a supposed elite QB should. That was the definition of nail biter.

That was a game! Saints had it to win, twice!! Gotta get a 1st down with more than 2min to play. And also I always knew the curse of the 5-10 safety will hurt you bigtime. Ughh...oh well NO has a bye then should be 2 wins......Can't win em all

Yeah, Saints really fooked it up there. Brees was pedestrian, offense seemed happier to run/short pass it than really tap into their powerhouse. Graham only 5 targets for 0 yards?! That's an immense help from a fantasy perspective for me, but in really that seems poor.
Good game to watch though.

Yeah, credit to the Pats D but also there were quite a few drops from the Saints and Brees was not totally on. I mean 1 TD and like 50 of those yards came on that hail mary, that really New England kinda blew. Was one helluva game.
Not looking forward to tonight's game but Indy/SD tomm may be pretty solid

Indeed. Hopefully they'll use the bye week to figure it out and Brees will be back in top form.
Yes...tonight should be a lovely game, if you like sloppy defensive play. And very possibly sloppy offensive play.

Minus the Niners winning, today's Sports Sunday was way better than last week with wins by the Lions and the Seahawks.

That it is, though if they are without Talib that will hurt.
Also 180 yds and 2 TDs from Vernon Davis. After all these years (seems like a while?) still a top threat at TE, albeit less spectacular than Graham or Gronk. If SF can get Crabtree back and health...he + Boldin, Davis and Gore will make quite a lineup. Though after the greatest start imaginable Kaep seems to be coming down to earth now
Edit: Gotta say, this is where football players amaze me. That Dallas TD run, the center had 2 guys in his arms, plus the back of course, and just shoved this entire mass into the endzone. Epic

Yeah, Brian. It's not a joke to lose to the Browns anymore. Last I checked, their defense was in the top 5 for the season so far. So they're nothing to sneeze at.
That win today should have been much greater than it was for us. As usual, we let the Bills claw their way back into it and take it into OT. I know a win is a win, but I don't see us going to Detroit next weekend and winning the same way. Plus Jay Gruden is a godawful OC. He should quit and just go join his brother in the MNF booth. And then they could have commentary so terrible that Tirico will commit suicide in front of a national audience!
But seriously, we need a new offensive coordinator. Gruden's play calling is so damn conservative. We had our heels on the Bills' throats and he decides to "play it safe". I think all the screens in the second half and running Bernard up the middle in the 4th quarter was really what got me.

...I'll sneeze at em :P at least for now. Solid D and they seem to have a weapon now, but we'll see next year!
Yeah seems most OC's are kinda crud. Shame MoM no longer is here. With all his horrible rage at Bruce Arians and I said "iunno things seem pretty good to me" I hear they want Haley's head on a steak in Pittsburgh, and the offense has been...yeah. Grass is always greener I reckon!
Speaking of defense, Arizona is no joke and they have Daryl Washington back. Shame their O is so crappy, could be a legit top team.

Sheesh you Lions fans really are a depressing lot! Did you honestly expect to lose to Cleveland??

The game was played outdoors on grass. Historically, that is the Lions' biggest hurdle to overcome. They are a team built to play indoors on artificial turf.

Which is a shame. I'd say, I dont get why a team (It's managements decision of course) would want to be indoors and all, but I could just be biased having an outdoor team. I mean...just makes sense they should be prepared to play in outdoor conditions.

Their practice facilities have both an indoor and an outdoor field so that they can practice on both. They just always seem to play bad outdoors though. Not sure if it is that they loose their footing on the grass or that the quarterbacks can't judge throwing the ball 5 feet to the left in order for the wind to sail it into the receivers' hands instead of passed the receiver.

That is fair, but it's not quite the same as the real deal ya know?
And of course it all is up to the team.
Despite playing there...the Giants suck at home the area's famous "swirling winds" aren't always present either.
Dallas/Wash is what I expected, bleh
Hoping tonight's is better

Best of the rest!
Pains me but I really do think Dallas is the best team in the East, they seem to be the most consistent and potent on offense, and they have some defensive talent. Not a ton, but some which is more than the Eagles/Giants/Skins can say.
Foles does have better upside though. Sorry, we tried and tried I just don't think Vick has it, and even before injury Chip Kelly seemed to have toned down his experiment. I fear the Eagles more with Foles, totally sincere.
Hate to give in to drama, but next week THE game has to be Indy/Denver. Should be a good battle of good teams and also, the Peyton stuff.
Unrelated: Houston fans cheering Matt Schaub being injured: shameful. TJ Yates goes out and throws a pick six...poetic justice

The Texans entire offense is terrible this year, not just the QB's. And yeah, Houston's fans (the one's who cheered) should be ashamed. That's just awful. I wouldn't even cheer Aaron Rodgers or Kaep getting hurt and those are probably my two most "hated" players in the league.

Yeah who knows, Schaub was I'd say a lower top 10 QB... and according to PFF it's not even bad luck/good D but he was just chucking balls with little regard and not reading defenses at all. Very unusual what happened with him.

Giants sign Peyton Hillis, had no idea he was still floating around there (maybe his time at CIA ended )
Well god knows what he has left but who didn't like that brawler of a guy?
