I'm not a big fan of Broadsword, but it sounds like I've got to pick this one up anyway. Thanks, Steve!

Futurist black metal should be an official sub-genre.

This caught me off guard with how good it is, and may end up being my favorite from this latest batch from Cuneiform

There's some really nice tracks on it, but I wouldn't call it a great JT album. They've definitely made worse though. If you've heard their other albums, and enjoyed most of that, I'd say this ones worth at least a listen.

I just haven't had any luck finding it on CD locally. I picked up a few of their other albums, including Under Wraps, on vinyl, but I haven't found Broadsword in vinyl either. I may breakdown and buy it on-line one day, but I hope to come across it in one of my local brick and mortar stores.

Of the later output Rock Island is my favourite, though I haven't heard A and Under Wraps at all. I really like Rock Island.
Now first listen:
Ouch, there was just a pretty nasty bit of vocal work...
I'm not really a fan of this synthesizer on symphony thing, like a yellow magic marker on Mona Lisa.
