I remember searching for it at one point, don't think I've ever heard it though...

^ Oh no Dave, this is a must for you. As you know psychedelic prog and Krautrock go hand in hand, this is a great example of it, you can't tell where the kraut experimentation begins and where the psych ends. Check it!

Thanks for that. I really enjoyed it - especially the sections that veer into that ever so Krautrockin circus feel. The ending fx sounds like a deranged take on the kind of music you hear at a fairground. Definitely on my ever-growing listBig smile

Even though this can be a tough listen, musicians rarely get better than this.  Berlin and Holdsworth together is stuff from space.

I'm glad you liked it, it doesn't have a french feel to it, but still very good with a little of 60's sound Thumbs Up

Is it the same band that made that cult classic in the late 60s Steve?

Extremely pleasant issue of songs from 73 that only got to see the light of day in 2001.
Love the interplay between the guitars and violin - gives off a delightful psychedelic sheen.
Try this one on for size:

Ok that was great! Loved how the focus moved from that biting guitar to the violin. Thanks I'll look into that, never heard of 'em before.

I think that the Swedish lyrics may make it difficult for American women to get.

Yes and no.  It's a continuation of that band but the membership has changed a lot over the years.  Mayo Thompson is the one consistent member thru their history.
