Any recommandations of abit complex prog with a bit of jazzy influences but still mantaining their melody? Like forexample vdgg or tmv

Ive got all those bands on vinyl...ah well with the possible exception of Nathan Mahl and Picchio Dal Pozzo but thanks anyway.

I do think alot of music gets a bit oscure for my taste like forexample Magma, gong or egg...i think they defently belong there at those obscure music...
Nor do i like samla mannas manna or whatever they are called..it is just something about their music wich i dont like..dont know why.

I do listen to some obscure german music for some strange reason and i like forexample Amon duul and tangerine dream

How about Bubblemath or Mike KeNeally. It's hard to get any more complex, as in wild time signatures and bizarro logic.
On the jazzier side of things, check out McGill, Manring, Stevens or Bozzio, MacHacek, Pernifalk (something like that).
