Can anyone recommend a reasonable PA system for my band? We need 4 mikes for 3 vocalists and a sax player for playing pubs and clubs so it doesn't need to be too loud. Probably something quite basic with a 4 or 8 channel mixer and a couple of speakers on stands.
Thanks.

Hi there.

We use a Peavey 10-usb mixer along with Wharfedale Titan 12-D speakers. It's really only a starter system but it meets our needs right now. The whole system cost about £800.

I was originally going to buy a Yamaha Stagepas 600i but was told the setup we bought had a little bit more oomph for pubs and clubs.

We have:
1 lead mic
1 harmoniser input
2 backing vocal mics
1 Bass drum mic input

Hope it helps.
