One of Australia's finest bass players, Bill Putt, member of Spectrum, Ariel and long time collaborator with Mike Rudd, died last week of a heart attack at age 66. RIP Bill.

Oh, and I came across a few of the albums by those bands you mention just at a record fair on Sunday, Gabe. I know you've always thought highly of them.

I hope to give them a listen and discover them one day myself.
