LOL Well said Steve. David has a unique way with words for sure.
Nice review of Honeyelk Sagi. I gave it 4 stars but felt I was rounding up. I enjoy it a lot but it does have a lot of non-moments if that makes any sense.

LOL Exactly. Non moments is a fine description. Of course I read your fine review, and like I said I think a lot of people would appreciate this album if they gave it a little more time, it is a grower, and just a tad short of 4 stars.

The EP version from 79' , as I mentioned, is actually a different mix so the outcome is a little different too. It's rougher and a little louder in parts, and I know you like that  Tongue. Have you ever had the chance to listen to this version?

Kind of intrigued by the Honeyelk album - especially those no-moments sound like fun.
 
I just ran across Jonas' (UMUR) rather short review of Clearlight's debut, and it never fails to make me chuggleLOL I couldn't be more in disagreement with him about the rating, but I do think it's a pretty cool description of the music he provides. Nah...I wouldn´t write reviews like that today. The description of the music is still valid LOL, but I don´t use terms like "How this album got a score right now that says 4.28 is unbelievable to me" anymore. I´m actually in the process of slowly going through each of my reviews, either completely re-writing them or doing major or minor edits, so this one will get an overhaul too some time in the future Smile.

Lots of my reviews and bios or parts of them frequently appear on youtube blogspots and other sites. It's kind of weird reading them ouside of PA because it takes me a few seconds to realize that, hey ! wait a minute I wrote that! Not that I think my reviews are any good but it's rather flattering. They're just a fun pastime for me. Some bands have even put my reviews on their websites such as this most recent one. But I'm wondering why it says that PA is a Scottish site????

Vibrationbaby, I was just looking at that `The Trip' review earlier on, as I'm about to review that album myself, so thanks for some pointers lol! I plan on writing some pretty rambling stream-of-consciousness stuff about it too!

Funny you mention about your words, I've started noticing my reviews ending up on all manner of dodgy download sites in google searches too lol!

Cheers, I'll be posting my review for it either today or tomorrow, and man do I pile it on thick for this one! I'm sure it will baffle more than a few people, and get a laugh from those who pick up many of the references in it! Knockout album but.

No it was made from  sheet music recovered from the Roswell crash. Penguins live in Antarctica. They don't come from space.

and hey Sagi, it was actually your sig that kept reminding me about this gemCool I've been meaning to review the album for ages, but it's become such a personal affair that I never know where to begin. It's often I feel this way with fave albums, and yesterday was no exception to this. I think I used 2 hours on the bloody reviewLOL Man.....that is not normal for me.

Gabe! I'm not sure how you feel about psych pop and Italian flair, but let me say this: I've never met anyone, who didn't like it. I've played it to my metal homies, prog affiliates and those like me who like just about everything - and it never fails to make people feel good. Maybe a little corny (so was my review), but it genuinely works.
Oh yeah, JuuhToob s'got the whole banana:
