![]() Nice review of Honeyelk Sagi. I gave it 4 stars but felt I was rounding up. I enjoy it a lot but it does have a lot of non-moments if that makes any sense.

![]() The EP version from 79' , as I mentioned, is actually a different mix so the outcome is a little different too. It's rougher and a little louder in parts, and I know you like that ![]() |

![]() Kind of intrigued by the Honeyelk album - especially those no-moments sound like fun. I just ran across Jonas' (UMUR) rather short review of Clearlight's debut, and it never fails to make me chuggle ![]() ![]() Muzak from the mall

Nah...I wouldn´t write reviews like that today. The description of the music is still valid

Lots of my reviews and bios or parts of them frequently appear on youtube blogspots and other sites. It's kind of weird reading them ouside of PA because it takes me a few seconds to realize that, hey ! wait a minute I wrote that! Not that I think my reviews are any good but it's rather flattering. They're just a fun pastime for me. Some bands have even put my reviews on their websites such as this most recent one. But I'm wondering why it says that PA is a Scottish site????
Progarchives (Scotland) "The Trip by Djam Karet is a manifestation of ideas and concepts that tingle, capture and numb everything that has ever occurred within the inner mind and then some. This baby would have Timothy Leary running for cover. The sonic images conjured here make the Jupiter sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey seem like some sort of kids amusement park cheap tunnel of horrors. Pure frightening brilliance." 5 out of 5 stars http://www.djamkaret.com/
I think a lot of guys and girls who write reviews here are much better than anything that any professional reviewers have written. Edited by Vibrationbaby - August 08 2013 at 10:36 |

Vibrationbaby, I was just looking at that `The Trip' review earlier on, as I'm about to review that album myself, so thanks for some pointers lol! I plan on writing some pretty rambling stream-of-consciousness stuff about it too!
Funny you mention about your words, I've started noticing my reviews ending up on all manner of dodgy download sites in google searches too lol! ![]() |

Why don't they write their own sh*t. When I review something it comes from my heart. The Trip is well... a trip. Look forward to reading your review.

Cheers, I'll be posting my review for it either today or tomorrow, and man do I pile it on thick for this one! I'm sure it will baffle more than a few people, and get a laugh from those who pick up many of the references in it!

No it was made from sheet music recovered from the Roswell crash. Penguins live in Antarctica. They don't come from space.

Excellent review of Lucio Battisti David
![]() As always your descriptions are spot on! That cover art and music go together like flannel shirts on a lumberjack. How do you like my sig BTW? ![]() |

Thanks you guys.
and hey Sagi, it was actually your sig that kept reminding me about this gem ![]() ![]() Gabe! I'm not sure how you feel about psych pop and Italian flair, but let me say this: I've never met anyone, who didn't like it. I've played it to my metal homies, prog affiliates and those like me who like just about everything - and it never fails to make people feel good. Maybe a little corny (so was my review), but it genuinely works. Oh yeah, JuuhToob s'got the whole banana: |

Funny you say that, Dave, wait until you read my self-indulgent and corny review for Djam Karet's `The Trip', I'll put it up later today/tomorrow, but I'm sure you'll appreciate it's sense of humour! ![]() |

^ Like most albums, this one needs a few more spins to let the melodies sink in.
