My friend at CNN just texted me saying he just saw Aynsley Dunbar at Centennial Park (which is right next to CNN, and where the Olympic opening ceremonies were held, and where I narrowly escaped being blown up in '96), doing a soundcheck as part of a band called World Classic Rockers.

I like the school year because it brings regularity to our home life.  In the summer it's more week by week.

That is really early.  Usually new school years start right around Labor Day.

Interesting.  I remember him from his Journey days, but I am quite certain I have heard him in other bands as well.

And we're done with school by early May.  It usually finished in June back in our day.  Not sure why it's changed.  More convenient for the people who have a say in the matter, is my guess.

He was the drummer on that self-titled Whitesnake album!  And of course Zappa in the early 70s.

I know that feel. Also, for a very short amount of time it was really nice to be home when my siblings were all in school and i had no college classes. Now there is no real escape ;__;

ture, it gives me a little more incentive to call in sick when I can have the house to myself and not have to entertain a child.

If you could work from 4 AM to 12 Noon instead of 9 AM to 5 PM, would you do it?

That's my wife's new schedule, starting tomorrow, for the next 2 months.  Sounds pretty cool actually.  You just have to go to bed earlier, and you can have the afternoon off.
