The preorders for the new album are up on the Inside Out shop. The album runs for about 62 minutes, and with the 2 bonus tracks available on the limited edition and the 2LP set, about 69 minutes.
If the rest of the album is like Atlas Stone, then we're in for a treat. They're revealing another new song today too, which hopefully will be fantastic.

Only 62 minutes? That's a little disappointing; I was hoping it would be 70 like their last two.

It's the quality that matters. I'd rather be hungry for more.

Personally many of my favorite albums are 34-45 minutes long and I am completely fine with shorter albums if they make them higher quality throughout. If I love something enough I'll listen to it over and over anyway.

That song is pretty epic.
Anyway, off-topic of the new album, but probably not worth starting a new thread, there's something I've been wondering for a while: what exactly happened in the song Visions? I got the part that it was about a guy who foresaw his own death and everything, but I got confused right at the part where he killed his younger self or something. If he'd been killed by his future self when he was young, wouldn't he have been dead the whole time? Is there something I missed? What exactly was going on?

Wish I could answer, but for all the dozens of times I've spun each album, I have no idea what's happening in either.

I have the first one and like it but didn't feel like getting the second. DPRP just had a round table review of The Mountain. Three 9 out of 10 and one 10 out of 10. They all pretty much gushed so figure I should get this one for sure.
So what is the verdict fellow proggers on the new album? Does it rival Visions or is it flat out better? I don't know yet, but I'll be getting the new album soon. ;)
