Thought of another one,
Blue Oyster Cult Cultosaurus Erectus/Mirrors. Secret Treaties was a runner-up for their best, though. |

Yes - Close To The edge - Big Generator (lots of hate for open your eyes...I never heard it so I have to go with BG)
Genesis - Selling England - We Can't Dance ELP - Emerson Lake And Palmer - Love Beach (even if the music were good, the cover alone makes it the worst!) Rick Wakeman - Criminal Record - Crimes of Passion Jon Anderson - Olias of Sunhillow - City of Angels.

Rush: 2112-Hold Your Fire (for that, i like Force Ten, Time Stand Still, and Mission, but i chose it as my least favorite because this is when the keyboards start to cross the line through the band, particularly Geddy and Alex, making it more of a prog pop album. that's all.)

^Taken as a whole Ummagumma is far more interesting and enjoyable to me than Animals, which does almost nothing for me these days. While I enjoyed Animals in my youth it today strikes me as a band coasting, uninspired, and coming apart. I think Waters taking control of the Wall is what made that effort so much better than Animals.
I know this opinion will not win me many friends here with all the Animals fanatics That's OK, we all see each album a bit differently. |
