That makes sense.  Vaccines are essentially small doses of viruses administered to build up immunity, and they always have to be stored in a refrigerator in doctors' offices.  I've heard of offices who have a power outage overnight literally lose thousands of dollars of vaccines because of it.

Someone got me one of those desk calendars where each day of the year has a quote from the TV show "The Office".  Today one of them actually made me laugh out loud.

Darryl: Hey man.  Selling cookies for Jada. Want the same as last year?

Andy: Would if I could and I can so I will.  Put me down for one box.  Don't care what it is.  Dealer's choice.

Darryl:  I'll put you down for shortbread.

Andy:   Damn it.

I just read the Spirit bio.  Interesting trivia items.  I did not realize that Randy California played in the Jimmy James Band and that Jimmy James was really known as James Marshall Hendrix.  I did not know that Randy California drowned while on vacation in Hawaii.
If you're interested, I published a feature article on Spirit way way back in the 90s (right after R. California died), and it's since been syndicated on other sites like Gnosis:

Thanks Steve!  Very interesting read on the band and Randy California.  I am glad that I am finally getting around to checking them out.  The first listen is very promising.

If you've liked the first three Spirit albums, the fourth one is going to knock your socks off I think.

Eager anticipation.  I just listened to Taurus a second time to see the Stairway to Heaven connection.  I was kind of expecting an out and out rip-off but it wasn't really there aside from a handful of notes, but I can see how it may have influenced the intro to Stairway.

Spooky Tooth is nice. Spooky Two is the one I've listened to the most, and I think it was Witness or something like that that I enjoyed as well.

I would have never noticed any similarity if I hadn't read about it in every review or article about Spirit I've ever read.  I even joined the conspiracy with my own article in '97, which I now regret.  The editor even added in a bit of "evidence" about how Zeppelin used to open for Spirit.  It's a common chord progression.  the first three notes are identical but that's it.

re: Spooky Tooth

It is practically impossible to listen to "Evil Woman" (on Spooky Two) without turning up the volume.

Metalhead trivia:  Spooky 2 also has a song that Judas Priest later covered, see if you can spot it.

Spooky Tooth had a great WTF moment with their "Ceremony" album, a collaboration with a French avant garde artist.  Can't say it's a good album but it's an interesting detour.

ture. I talked to the gril last night, and while we had a really good conversation, I couldn't help her with her eating disorder.

Looked at the song titles.  Better By You, Better Than Me definitely jumps out as a song that I have heard Judas Priest play.
