I imagine it would be more that I'm more familiar with them because I've known them for years. Maybe the slightly smaller age gap helps but I dunno maybe not. Also it's 2:20 am and i'm not good at thinking anymore

Speaking of past shreds, I'm really sorry to hear about your mother's MS, agi. My mum's got it as well, has for fifteen years or so, but with medication and rest she's thankfully been able to continue life pretty much as it was.

Yeah, I remember the beginning all those years ago, it was horrible and confusing to watch for a pre-teen. Hopefully your mum reaches some kind of bearable stability soon.

Who are they?
I'm at work, once again I spent the morning commute listening to Blur.

Ah, of course! Isis was pretty great, so I guess I should give them a listen.

Ok, band cocktail of choise
Audioslave, Chris Cornell + RATM Palms Chino Moreno + ISIS or other choices but from the top of my head Chino Moreno + Soundgarden Chris Cornell + Dream Theater

Cornell + DT would be interesting, though I've always thought that LaBrie is the perfect singer for DT in both good and bad.

Cornell has that range, and specially in the 90s he was a monster, and he is a Rush fan so that also helps, but their is aspects of DT which goes against Cornells music philosophy if i catch his viewpoints in some interviews. DT is to much fan of glam metal, and well Seattle + Glam metal =

Its just that i think Cornells gruff voice would fit well with the heaviness of DT, there is just something promising with Cornell singing Pull Me Under or Learning to Luve

Yeah. LaBrie is a bit too choirboy-y for some of the heavier stuff, but he does have some surprisingly good rougher moments as well. Some early live version of Pull Me Under was one of them. |

Agi, that Palms album is awesome. It's very post-rock-ish, but not too over the top. Me like
