^ Every once in a while that's what I get when I post using my iPhone. What I do is I copy whatever I have written (without knowing whether or not that message will appear again), refresh the page, and then I post. As per why that happens, I have no clue. A time-out of the session, a log-out, or god knows what.

I get these random error messages too - most of them are time-outs - if you spend too long thinking about and writing a reply the page simply times out - if I know there has been a long time gap between loading the page and posting a reply I always Crtl-A, Ctrl-C before hitting the post button, then if I get the message I simply refresh the page and Ctrl-V the text back into the message dialogue box - et violin - problem circumvented.

^ It selects ALL the text in the currently active window (where the text cursor is flashing). You can Google some pretty cool shortcut keys, like Ctrl+W, which closes the current tab in Google Chrome, Ctrl+Shift+T restores the tab, etc.

Keyboard shortcuts are a boon - I remember them all from the days of using WordPerfect on DOS and CP/M PCs long before the days of apps and mice - but you can use the right-mouse button menu in the reply-box to do these things too.

I'm still getting the permissions error. I really thought this would have been fixed after all this time, seems to have been happening for a few years.

I must have had this error on 50% of my posts today. Okay, I've got into the habit of copying everything before posting, but it's still a pain in the a*se.

Got the error 3 times today in about 10 posts. This must be discouraging people from posting if they're getting it as often as I do. Good job I've got in the habit of ctrl-C before posting, but it's always the post I forget to copy that fails.

I got it today - hasn't happened in a really long time. Didn't ctrl-C and couldn't be arsed to retype the post.

I've been getting the error for a few weeks on my work computer mostly. It seems to be habitual to Google Chrome though I haven't had the issue yet with Explorer.
