The band started recording my new song last night. It's a very simple song, so I decided to make life difficult for the drummer by asking him to play a very difficult pattern so the song will sound more complex than it is. I should probably give him a writing credit, he did a whale of a job. Just got the drum track down so far, but it's a doozy. |
Is that the one with that title with 'mushroom' or something? |

I'll be seeing my cousin next week, gotta remember to ask him for the Pod.

I must say though, that I think your tone is righteous. How do you coax that sound out?

Nice, thanks, you might be the first one to especially compliment my sounds Tokai Love Rock Les Paul and Peavey Bandit 112 60W with (more or less, depending on track) maximum distortion, that's all A rather cheapish USB microphone and Audacity are the only recording tools I have. That raw sound works quite nicely with those tracks, but I think going forward I'll need to make it a bit more versatile.

That's encouraging, I've been just starting to experiment recording that way too. You got a good sound out of that.
