Oh Ray! For me it's the worst news from music world since Les Paul's death.
Saw MANZAREK - KRIEGER OF THE DOORS live twice, the last time a year ago. Ray radiated energy, I thought he will live at least to 90. I hoped to see them once again. Not in this world unfortunately. RIP, Ray and say hello to Jim. Thanks to the best music ever made.

R.I.P. Ed Shaughnessy, long time drummer for the Tonight Show Orchestra during the time Johnny Carson was host.
During his almost 30 years as the drummer he often accompanied guest musicians that would appear on the show. Two were Jimi Hendrix and John McLauglin. See below (sorry Jimi video is audio only): |
