Maybe a little controversial pick, but anyway:

I've heard the new album too and I only like the first 4 tracks with Black Skinhead as my favorite, especially this live version:
I love that early period of GBV, the stuff from "Box" is probably my favorite stuff of theirs to listen to.
Yeah, I'm still not overly familiar with GBV, myself. But from what I've heard so far, I much prefer their early "box" material to their more lo-fi sound.
Just recently got into these guys. Heard about them through Fantano, and Pitchfork, so I was like oh my god I got to see what the buzz is about. Pleasant surprise though. I've never heard anything quite like it actually, though Alcest are quite similar. A very unique blend of Post Rock, Shoegaze and Black Metal. Check it out, I highly, highly suggest a good listen. There's not too many bands that come around like these guys.

An old favorite from one of Camel's late 70s albums. This song is pretty unique as a pretty basic love song expanded to epic proportions with a colorful, ever-shifting arrangement and dramatic theme development.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if it is lightly greased.
