So far for 2013...

SEVENTH CIRCLE--The line (ep), The struggle (original version and remixed.) and the album The Vanishing.

I-DRAGON-I-- formally known as the wedding party and have one album to their credit at this point I-dragon-I. Incredible gothic rock album. :)

Beyond Twilight--Section X. Amazing prog metal concept album with a storyline that is beyond BIZZARE. Lol
Agalloch--knew about these guys for a while, but finally picked up one of their albums Ashes against the grain. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Threshold--Critical Mass. Amazing prog metal album with not one weak track on it. Drumming is incredible.
Marc Streitenfeld-- The Grey movie soundtrack. Absolutely sublime music scores that are dark, ambient and sweetly mellow as well.

Lastly, my best discovery this year so far i think is ROYAL HUNT-Paradox.
My favourite album of this year. Came out in 1997. Lol better late than never. :)

So far I've discovered a lot this year as I'm fairly new to the prog scene.

The Dear Hunter, Opeth and Porcupine Tree are all bands I've discovered this year. God damn am I happy to be part of this community of Prog.
