With the relatively new technology of touch screens, I can envision in the near future the equivalent of what a guy like Klaus Schulze surrounded by keyboards and synths was in the 70's / 80's, but now being a guy surrounded by big touch screens which he will use as input to synthesizers, percussions, drum machines, effects, changing the sound parameters and so on, just tapping on them with his hands and fingers.
Do you think the keyboard as we know it will become a thing of the past and touch screens may become an important, perhaps the leading, input controller instrument for the future music?
I know that touch pads exist for a while, but they have not taken off to the extent I'm talking about.
