Did he die before 1319?

He was a scientist, but he died after 1319(someone_else already asked if he died before 1682, and I said no).

The hint is:

Sorry, I was in a hurry.

But you made it easy with this hint: It’s Leonhard Euler.

Dammit, I was afraid I was making it too obvious, but yes, you're right.
It's your turn again.

At a prog site that’s more or less a giveaway. At another site nobody would have a clue.

I’ll be back later with a new one.

No, not an artist.

Yes, she died before I was born. LOL

Fictitious telegram

EDIT: Oops, that hint says too much. Never mind. You would have found it out soon anyway.

No, not American.

She lived most of her life in America, though.

This one proved to be easier to identify than her mortal remains :
Brynhild Paulsdatter Størseth (1859-1908), a.k.a. Belle Gunness, American serial killer of Norwegian heritage.

I’m impressed!

ClapClapClap

I shouldn’t have mentioned the telegram before you had found out when she lived, but I don’t think it mattered very much. Just out of curiosity: How did you find her? I didn’t think that any of my hints were giveaways. Still obviously one of them must have been.

We have established that the died sometime between 1815 and 1962. Telegrams have existed during most of the period (in the Netherlands since 1852; I know from the time when I collected stamps that hexangular telegram stamps have been issued there from 1877 to 1903).
But to reveal the secret behind my long range shot: I entered "Fictitious telegram" in the Wikipedia search text field and the first hit was Belle Gunness. On reading the article I found out that it had to be her.

I'll be back later with a new one.

That damned telegram! I should have chosen the hint about the lethal brine instead. Or I could have posted a video with Burning Down the House. LOL

That would make it harder for me, although it is a good and valid hint.

A new one: Real person, Female, Alive.
