Thanks, Jim/AEP, yes I will get to a `Tardo' review, but not quite yet! Although I'm going to start playing it again more often to start refreshing my memory of it, so once I've lived and breathed it for a little while again, maybe I'll get to work on that review then!

I'm starting to get sick right now, so I don't think I'll be starting on any reviews for a little bit, but who knows, maybe a fevered and delirious state would be ideal to listen to that album in!

No, nothing too serious, my good friend. The air-conditioning in our office at work jumps back and forth from too hot to freezing cold every few hours, and I thinks it's finally taken it's toll on me!

Hopefully a shot of RPI will keep that sickness at bay, or at least make it more bearable!

PS - Michael, I know I may have not mentioned it before as acknowledged on previous posts, but your reviews are very worthy!  I would love to to see your review of Jacula's Tardo...

Great post Jim, Jacula around a large fire....that's awesomeLOL

Just want to give this band a plug.  It's pretty rare to have Italian prog live in a place like Milwaukee.  Il Castello Di Atlante and Fibonacci Sequence will be playing here next Friday night.

There's no way I can get there Friday night, it's quite a drive.  And it would be an over-nighter which I really can't afford.  But I would have tried to go were it local here.  I can't imagine why they would pick Milwaukee of all places for their one US show.  Why not Minneapolis, Chicago, or the East coast?  Maybe they have friends there or something.

I'm largely retired from live music anyway, I've seen most of the artists I hold dear..I don't like large crowds anymore.  My ears are so shot from hundreds of concerts and band jams that I will only subject my hearing to that volume for very, very special shows, at this point.  But if some RPI ever came to Mpls, I would consider it.

Played this one today, it gets better all the time.  If you like the warm, melodic, pastoral RPI, this is one of the best from the previous decade.  Meant to sound like the 70s and it does.  No metal influence here.

Il Ruscello Paesaggio Solare (Estate 1972) album cover

Damn, Jim, just when I get one order wrapped up, another suggestion like this comes my way and the whole process begins again!

Hey, the Montefeltro album (or as I remember it, `that Italian album with the green cover' ) is coming along nicely, symphonic keyboard washes overload!

Just listened to Nuova Idea - 'Clowns' and it rox-my-sox-off !!  Even down to the raspy, hysterical tone of the singer.  Great album.  Funny how discussing certain albums on these forums, or reading a review, makes you want to go and listen to the album mentioned......
.........or have I just worked this out..........Ping

Tom, that happens to me all the time, someone mentions something and then I go and dig it out, or make sure I listen to it on my Ipod right away.

But it could be worse....my `affliction' is like above, where someone in here mentions an album, and I want to race off and put in an order for it right away! See, I trust the word of all of you, knowing you all have supreme taste and know that I'll be rewarded with a good album!

Oh, and Jim/AEP's pyro/burning agenda in tribute to the Prog Gods has been quite clear for some time....as long as he's not actually burning prog albums to keep that fire going!
