I'm hopeless with computers ..how do I get an image into my folder to upload...? I have no idea how to do that.

I would make a folder on your desktop to make it accessible first off.
Then just go to google images with whatever you want your avatar to be. "Save As" - Make to save it to that folder you just created.
Then when you go to avatar upload, find the folder on your desktop, choose the image you just saved and it should upload. Hopefully this helps.
 
I tried something like that...I'll giver it another go.

Not to worry. A lot of people haven't, but it's like I say to everyone who hasnt and that is to check them out. Saviour Machine are seriously one of the very best prog metal bands. The quality of the music is off the charts. You can check out my reviews if you like.
