You are forgiven. A lot of grunge music sucks big time anyway. ;)

In your opinion!
But I agree. Apart from Alice in Chains and a bit of Soundgarden, I find grunge to be a dull genre, and most of the bands I've heard to be mediocre at their best.

Alice in Chains and Bad Religion are definitely grunge's best. Grunge....the name speaks for itself. Lol
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

In a bit macabre twist of the OP question, I was thinking of a 'Dream Band in the Afterlife' (I don't believe in afterlife but just for the sake of it):

Jimmy Hendrix & Shawn Lane - Guitars
Jaco Pastorius - Bass
Keith Moon - Drums (sorry Bonzo, you are welcome to join in percussions)
Jon Lord - Keyboards
Jim Morrison - Vocals

Todd La Torre - vocals
Michael Romeo - guitars
Andreas Blomqvist - bass
Tuomas Holopainen - keys & songwriting

John Wetton - Vocals / Bass
Bill Bruford - Drums...

oh wait. Ok from there

Neal Morse - Keys
Roine Stolt - Guitar

Combination of my two favorite supergroups. Each with the greatest "rock" musicians of their era.

Soundgarden's current lineup.  For the most part, it seems that supergroups are just disappointments.

I'm going to cast a wide net as there's a similar thread specifically for prog musicians...

Drums: Terry Bozzio
Bass: Mike Watt
Guitar : Peter Buck
Keyboards: Thomas Dolby
Vocals: John Lydon & Courtney Love
Narration : Henry Rollins & Exene Cervenka

I can't imagine what they'd sound like but I'd love to hear it Wink

Guitar & Vocals: JK Broadrick
Saxophone : Kevin Martin
Bass: Mingus
Drums: Thomas Pridgen

This probably won't sound good at all.

Ed Wynne--Lead Guitar and additional Programming.
Jason Rullo---Drums/Percussion
Fabio Pignatelli---Bass guitar
Dave Murray--Rhythm guitar
Lead Vocals--Geoff Tate

I think this line up could work. It would be very guitar oriented music for sure.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
