But Tony was so much fun.  Sigh.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I'm a little burnt out and thought it was time to put an end to the "should I stay or should I go" torment by just demoting myself. I've heaps of exciting stuff on at work and an expanded role so I only really have the energy to "pratt about" on the Internet and being an Admin here was causing me problems as I got suspended from other forums
It's nice not to feel the obligation to log on here and hopefully I can return to just posting for fun at Progarchives. I don't think my Special Collaborator is appropriate really, I just clicked on that to exclude myself from the Admin Zone.
I've met and "worked" alongside some wonderful people here, Admin, Collabs and members. It's nice that people like "The Doctor" bear no grudges and disappointing that some still do. I did what I had to do...
I hope that this site continues to grow, and that decisions made are transparent and for the good of the site and the members, not just change for change's sake.
Hopefully I will finally get to meet up with some here at some point, until then, see you around.

^LOL  You'd have to ask Tony about that.  On second thought, don't do that.  Tongue

And welcome Andy.

By his own documented admission Tony R could be a 'pompous arse' but certainly was the closest thing we have  here to the "last word' before you were perma-banned. Despite his life-long allegiance to the reviled Man Ure, I have a grudging and sneaking respect for this elevated troll.

I'm just being honest, it's a two way street

Well done and prog on, guys! Thank you for everything. Handshake

I know I was naughty too sometimes and sorry about that. You were a great asset to the site and I hope you'll not get off the radar. Smile

Deep and sincere thanks to Guigo and Tony for their long dedication to this site. Solid people like them with 'big picture' viewpoints are what have kept me here so long. Your endless hours of work will always be felt here.

Thanks!

Update. Jody (TheProgologist) has also stepped down from the admin team.  Jody has been a fine contributor to the site over many years, both through his specialist knowledge of Prog metal and his role as an admin.

We thank Jody for all his work for the site. I'm delighted to say that Jody will also be sticking around.

I stopped sacrificing virgins to all the metal gods and it has been nothing but downhill form there.Wink

Seriously though,I came back to help but I am just too busy and it's not fair to someone who is motivated and can dedicate time to the site.

Weird,I never thought my life would get more hectic when my kids got older. It's not supposed to be like this!LOL

Thanks guys Hug

Enjoy your retirement Jody.  Hope to see you around the site more often now that you're stepping down.  Very disappointing to hear you've stopped the virgin sacrifices.  I still try to get in at least one a month.  Tongue
