^ I like some but I find hard to listen to more than 15 mn of this music. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the lounge lizards and James Chance & the Contortions belong to this scene ? I saw James a few years ago in paris, it was nice but much less weird than in his early years.

Yeah, although they're both relatively mainstream No Wave bands, and the Lounge Lizards didn't really fit the term after their first or second album.
