News picked up via http://www.progrockmag.com/video/cosmograf-trail-concept-album/
Multi-instrumentalist Robin Armstrong has released a video for his project Cosmograf’s track The Vacuum That I Fly Through. View it below. It’s one of nine songs on Cosmograf’s fourth album The Man Left In Space, which features guest appearances by Nick D’Virgilio (Spock’s Beard and Big Big Train), Dave Meros (Spock’s Beard), Matt Stevens, Greg Spawton (Big Big Train) and Luke Machin (Maschine). Armstrong says: “The Man Left In Space is a concept album exploring the themes of aspiration, achievement, and the failures that our quest sometimes brings. “The story is played out against the analogous theme of a doomed space mission, launched in a bid to save mankind. The story provides a metaphor for the perils of success, such as boredom, isolation, unhappiness and ultimately failure.” 'The Man Left In Space' is due out on January 31. Sounds great! His last album was 2011's best album IMO.

Well guys - there's gomma be another new album in 2014 too!
Cosmograf will release a concept album entitled Capacitor in June – and mainman Robin Armstrong says it’s “seeded with a ghostly perspective.” View a trailer below. The follow-up to last year’s The Man Left In Space features guest appearances by Nick D’Virgilio, Colin Edwin, Nick Beggs, Andy Tillison, and Matt Stevens, and contains seven tracks in total. Armstrong says: “The theme for Capacitor is the storage of the human spirit, and how the imprint of our lives is left behind both in a spiritual and technological sense. “The album is heavily loaded with cinematic atmosphere. There are plenty of dark corners in which the imagination can wander – especially for those listening in the dark with headphones.” The record will be available for pre-order on the Cosmograf website within the next fortnight. The band will appear at this year’s Celebr8.3 festival, with their set due to feature tracks from the latest work. Tracklist1. The Spirit Capture |

Sounds like a good deal to me. I've enjoyed the previous two albums.

It's great. I contributed bass to Track 3 - it's a wonderful album. And of course, the band will be playing live at Celebr8.3 in London on 1st June.
