Pierre, I'm getting worried! I'm still waiting on that....oh man, what was it called? The RPI album from the 90's several of you spoke highly about that you tipped off was available on Gemm as a "fancy Russian import" for a cheap price.

I think it's been over a month now....

The Sensitiva Immagine's album; I think. Don't worry. That seller ships by recommended mail. I orderered him the third Arco Iris album yesterday. It's from Argentina but very close to old RPI.The first album of that band is a gem.

Love this guy! (not RPI or even Italian, but I know a few prog fans who like Kapustin so I thought I'd share)

Arco Iris "Los Elementales" is one of the best fusion albums I've ever heard!  They certainly switched up their style significantly, huh?

I agree. Los Elementales is great too, but very different from the beginning. Anyway, that band has many others faces. Maybe it's just my imagination, but  listening to that group, I let myself go to dream to the career that could have all those one-shot italian bands.

Speaking about classics, I listened to PFM's debut this morningHeart
I really dig the "live in studio" vibe that album's got. The feel is completely different on Per un Amico, which was released shortly after.

I don't listen to PFM as much as I would like to, but every  time I go back and it's always a marathon of their albums, I'm always amazed of how incredibly good and talented they are.

Uncanny, Pierre. I was listening to this album last night when you posted!

I agree that sometimes I get lost in the new and obscure stuff--it's good to revisit the classics.

.

I just watched some DVDs that featured these bands.

I was amazed at Le Orme in their Live in Pennsylvania, especially the entire Felona e Sorona album.

But Prog Exhibition showed just how incredible PFM really are. Their Live in Japan is amazing as well. They are just phenomenal entertainers.
