I have located a few worth mentioning and you can add your selection:

"If I was a sculptor
But then again, no"

Your Song - Elton John

"I wish it was Sunday
That's my fun day
My I-don't-have-to-run day"

Manic Monday - The Bangles

"I don't like cities

But I like New York

Other places

Make me feel like a dork"

I love New York - Madonna

What is a dork anyway? From Urban Dictionary:

"Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks."

The second definition is actually quite positive. So I sense a big problem here: She doesn’t like cities, still NYC is the only place in the world where she can feel okay – granted that she means the first definition. If she means the second, NYC is the only place in the world where she is unable to be herself. Which means that all other cities are better for her. To be honest, I don’t think she was thinking much when she wrote the lyrics (provided she wrote them herself – I don’t know).

We all know these lines, of course;

"Oh! It was OK!! But there were no clowns, no tigers, lions or bears,
cand-floss, toffee apples, no clowns."

Not my fave lines by Jon Anderson.
He say nothing is quite what it seems;
I say nothing is nothing
(Peter Hammill)

What's wrong with the lyrics of the first one?

I love that

Just look at the top 40 singles charts; you can find plenty of bad ones there.

Love the song, but the opening lyrics make me facepalm every time.
"Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses"
-War Pigs--Black Sabbath.

I don't like cities, but I love New York.  This is so true - I live in Australia and visited N.Y. twice (going for a third time too) -  the pretzel carts, squirrels at Battery Park, South Beach at Staten Island....................The Statue Of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square.  I love New York - but I generally dislike cities..............go figure Confused - BTW, these are my thoughts, not dopey song lyrics.........

THESE WORDS ARE SOME OF THE BEST LYRICS IN THE WHOLE HISTORY OF MUSIC. I SAID. Stern Smile

If you want bad lyrics, check out the lyrics for, let's say, Judas Priest's "Turbo Lover":
'You won't hear me, but you'll feel me" - it just starts in a perfect way.

"Nous sommes du soleil" ("we are from the sun" - sounds like the words of a sect guru)...
"Magma was the very first gothic rock band" (Didier Lockwood)

^ I think the words are alright. Sect guru? Sounds creepy.

Want an example of the worst?

So you live in the bottom of the sea,
And you kill all that come near you
But you are very lonely, because all the other fish
Fear you
And you crave companionship and someone to call your own;
Because for the whole of your life
You've been living alone.

Now that's some piece of s%^t. Universal anthemism at its cheapest. It's like as if a seven-year-old sat down at a table and wrote the lyrics, delivering as much desperation in writing better lyrics as possible, trying too hard. These words belong in prose, not in a song. Pseudo-maturity in kindergartenish terms - not a lot of things could be more repulsive than that.

Has he lost his mind?
Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all
Or if he moves will he fall?

And then...

Nobody wants him
He just stares at the world
Planning his vengeance
That he soon will unfurl

-Iron Man - Black Sabbath

Or how about this one:

Well I'm running here
I'm running there
I'm looking for a girl
Cause there's nothing I need
There's nothing I want more
In the whole wide world

Need Some Love - Rush
I love dogs, I've always loved dogs

Didn't say they were the worst lyrics ever, just that I disliked those particular ones in that song. The rest of the lyrics in War Pigs are great, certainly.

It's hard to have any appreciation for either of those lyrics. And for Black Sabbath in general.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

my personal favorite ;

If you've got troubles
Then you've got less troubles than me.
You say you're worried,
You can't be as worried as me. (oh oh)
You're quite content to be bad,
With all the advantages you've had over me.
Just 'cause you're troubled,
Then don't bring your troubles to me.

I don't think it's funny
When you ask for money and things.
Especially when you're standing there
Wearing diamonds and rings. (oh oh)

You think I'm soft in the head,
Well, try someone softer instead, pretty thing
It's not so funny
When you know what money can bring.

You'd better leave me alone,
I don't need a thing from you.
You'd better take yourself home,
Go and count a ring or two.

..and of course ;

Was it you or was it me? Or was it he or she?
Was it A or was it B?
Or was it X or Z?
Was it you or was it me?
Or was it he or she?
Was it A or was it B?
Or was it X or Z?
Was it you or was it me?
Or was it he or she?
Was it A or was it B?
Or was it X or Z?
