And what about new RPI? For example, Gran Turismo Veloce, from Tuscany :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scqjF0i-7oE
And, why not, also the italian, indie, instrumental prog band Orchestre Celesti...http://orchestrecelesti.bandcamp.com/...

wonderfully unique, diverse title.....big band style horns, funky stuff, avant weirdness, pop music. Chicago meets Officina Meccanica meets Sinatra on mushrooms. Not recommended if you don't like horns....

Pierre, I noticed that vendor from a few weeks ago that had a copy of that LP seemed to get a few more in, I wondered whether to grab it or not...?
![]() Just that, these days, unless it's something that has not been released on vinyl, I'm better off buying a nice pristine unplayed CD than a second hand vinyl for the same or more price. Forgot to mention, I just got the Laser and I Raminghi 2 disc version CD's the toher day from Greg! Opinions? :) |

Michael, the two versions, more acoustic for the VM CD and more electric for the Japanese CD are essential.
I like the Laser album very much !

^ That I Giganti album is one of my favorites! I have four CD editions:
1 - Vinyl Magic 1989 version, which is the "demo" and omits the orchestral introduction. There is passion and energy and raw vocals and playing here. You know this is the version you have if it starts right into the guitar. 2 - Vinyl Magic 1993 version, which is the "full" version. Note that the packaging for both versions, including track times, is completely the same! Including the CD labels! There is no way to know which version you're getting, but the 1989 version is much more common. 3 - King, which is the same as the Vinyl Magic 1993 "full" version 4 - Belle mini lp, which uses the Vinyl Magic 1993 "full" version, but their remastering is to my ears inferior to the other versions. But the packaging is phenomenal!

Todd!
You wouldn't want to sell off one of your numerous I Giganti CD's, would you?! Or are they all like a precious child that you can't choose a favourite from?! :) Edited by Aussie-Byrd-Brother - February 22 2013 at 15:58 |

![]() Happy weekend my fine aquatic denizen.... I have a different Terra Bocca version.... It's from Akarma....I can't say how the sound compares, but the packaging is nice. Comes as a gatefold Mini with a bonus poster. |

This is a really good title from MaraCash that deserves much more love. A playful romp between RPI and Avant, with charming Italian melodies, role playing vocals, and weirdness....but musical enough not to push people away. I do recommend this for anyone who likes a little avant strangeness with their RPI.
![]() And a review....we need more reviews for this band! |

Great review as always Jim, it looks like something I would like. No youtube clips though, only 30 seconds samples via itunes.

Greetings, RPI fanatics!
I'm Kyle, aka coasterzombie. You're probably sick of my reviews by now so I thought I'd come bother you here! I am only about 50 pages into this thread and and am totally humbled and excited to hear some of these amazing suggestions. I have been wasting way too much time on some other forum that shall remain nameless and should have been here all along! Anyway, nothing new to share yet but I thought I'd start off with one of the classics: Edited by coasterzombie - February 23 2013 at 01:37 |

Sag, I'm listening to Allegri Leproti right now. Imagine some kind of Zappa's jazzy composition played by Genfuoco with some guests musicians from Zauber and Alphataurus just coming back from a dinner with Opus Avantra and Pierrot Lunaire.
