Edit: Ah, I see where the misunderstanding is: I tend to use the word "you" as a general catch-all term. Replace it in that sentence with "one" and that should remove any unintended connotations. Edited by manofmystery - February 13 2013 at 19:33 |

The media actually ran a story referencing"Water-gate" because Rubio took a drink of water.

Sad but true. I've listened to people who say, "We've had our first black president; now we need our first woman president." People are enamored by symbolics. It's so stupid. |

Rand Paul our first cuasi-libertarian president. Romney would've been our first Romney-family president. |

If Hillary ran in 2016 I don't think she'd win the primary. She lost what should have been a shoe-in race in 2008 and I don't see how she's gotten any stronger politically since then.

Plenty of sympathy for them. I can also feel sympathy for the killer though. I find this especially important when you see the society that breeds a killer. We have a killer cop who was killed by other cops in a barbaric manner. Do you think there's any connection between the type of behavior deemed acceptable by the cops acting as official agents and the behavior that some cops like Donner deem acceptable when acting as individuals? |

Because they're either Chinese who are Communists or Japs who bombed Pearl Harbor in the eyes of America probably. |

I'm hoping for a Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren ticket in 2016. Hey, I can dream can't I?

So society bred the killer. It is society's fault someone makes a personal choice to run around killing innocent people?Or are you speaking of the society of the police, which then I can understand. At any rate the media is loving it.

Someone equally awful but younger and less haggish will emerge. It's a shame that Hillary's Benghazi "what does it matter" bullsh*t didn't end her career completely.

You are aware that Sanders is registered as "Independent". Also, Democrats prefer that their candidates act as socialists without outright saying that they are.

I am aware of Sanders' independent status. And as you may or may not have noticed, I'm a progressive and a liberal first and a democrat only by default, as I don't think either of the viable parties represents my views. Only the dems do slightly more than the reps.
