It's nothing to get so upset (or arrogant) about. It's not like I don't give a damn about other people's tragedies, and I will find out about those tragedies one way or another. I don't need TV for that. 99% of the news I see on that giant screen is absolutely useless information. It's just that I know that if something big happens, there is nothing I can do about it.

It's not that, you could get your news somewhere else that is on TV and constructive it's just really rare to find, I suggest some newscasters like Tavis Smiley.

. There is big news going on about immigration reform. My classmates and I are putting on a Summit for Immigration Reform and we are lobbying for humane immigration this year in 2013.Obama and his administration and Republicans want people to work as slaves temporarily and then they will ship and deport undocumented people even documented people I bet back to where ever they think they are from Shocked

[eye-roll] You make it sound like I can do something about it. Everywhere I lived (namely Russia and America) the economy is always s$%tty. Russia has undergone a whole series of the so-called defaults. Plus, it's extremely difficult to find a job there. In the US lots of people pay for things with money they don't have ... and never will, ... and those that do have money ... good for them!
