Yeah, I love that song. And indeed it is heavy. But even though it's not so fast, those slow gloomy heavy guitars on "She's so Heavy" sound more metal to me, the ones on the "she's so heavy" parts of the song (of course the part of the song with the lyrics "I Want you" are not metal at all).

Sumdeus, my perception of punk are peeps who don't even know how to play intruments, they sabotage (my ears hurt) and think it's good.  I would certainly not call the Beatles punk nor any of their moozik tho' Wasn't it not The Beatles but The Quarrymen or something like that?

Well, The Beatles are still winning, so that should be good enough. I would guess that in a prog site Rush might get a bit of a hand to get a few more votes. I think they are both good, but indeed I may give the edge to The Beatles. Now, just out of curiosity, which do you prefer, The Beatles or Pink Floyd? (as a matter of fact, I believe there's a poll about that too).
