I've never actually heard of the Neal Morse Band. Must check  them out.

Nightwish doesn't belong to the best PROG rock bands.

You will have the opportunity to broaden your tastes with PA (the bands you listed are quite "mainstream" in prog / metal world)

It's just the band that Neal Morse has on his solo albums consisting of Mike Portnoy, Randy George and a few others

Yeah I don't actually have any nightwish albums although I do like their music but they are towards the bottom of my fav bands

I know exactly what you mean Thellama, you are curious, certainly said nothing negative and were most welcoming too :) all the above bands you mentioned I like them a lot too except for one which everyone loves inc. Bluenipper Big smile

I seem to be the odd one out because one of my ultimate fav band's is Uriah Heep (with David Byron and Ken Hensley).

I like some other bands on the site like Genesis, Yes and ELP, but you've certainly come to the right site!
You'll find many here who like the bands you like.
And you might get some ideas for other bands, like happened to me.
