10. Corvus Stone. What can I add ? Simply one of the best discoveries from this site in a long time. Talented artists who don't pay attention to the current trends in music (ioncluding in prog rock circles) and focus on the quality of their art.

Colin Iron Pillows is not the easiest listening track on the album tho' marmite track I guess, I like but can understand why others might not, just like Jussipussi although both are completely different, they don't fit the normal norm. I think especially the hammond keys stand out and are excellent however it is certainly not a soft and cuddly track

Wow!! Thank you.
Can't claim 10% of the talent of the first guys who did "prog" but they had nothing to copy, so not taking note of the current fad, is the only way to do what you actually want to do I think. They all proved that. |

11. Just for fun, I decided to include some post-punk tracks (I hesitated between Pere Ubu, Gang Of Four, devo, Magazine) I finally retained Devo and Magazine. Back in the days when the real prog rock was post-punk actually.

12.Mrs Fripp (Toyah Wilcox) lending her voice to that sublime Banks song. It's a shame he didn't record a full record with her.

Saw Split Enz live in a small club in Sydney. Amazing. They put most prog bands of those days in the shade.

Do you know Cuddly Toys, a british glam-rock borderline gothic rock with a strong David Bowie influence. They are in the queue for my next playlists. |

Saw the Enid a few times! From the front row in the Marquee in the good old days. Then I met them as we planned to mix the BunChakeze album at their farmhouse studio in 1992. We decided against that place. Ha ha
