^ I have no doubt you'll be knocked out, just like me. Such a simple and sensitive album with a very surprising instrumentation which makes the album feel so diverse, everything is in its right place. Beautiful is the word I'm looking for. Enjoy!

Hey Pierre those acoustic guitars blended with the orchestral arrangements reminds me of french man Emmanuel Booz in his album 'le jour ou les vaches' do you know it?

LA COMPAGNIA DIGITALE (1979). A very special album (unique in RPI) made of three long psychedelic jams and  impossible to find nowadays. Many thanks to Damo for his inspired review.

^^^ I love the cover artwork! I don't believe I've ever heard Compagnia (OOP) so I'll have to listen.

I remember reading this review and thought about looking for this album but I forgot about it. I'll look it up, it does sound cool.

Not as original as the Roberto Colombo's work, but this rare classic jazz rock album (1979) deserves some attention.
A CD exists.

From Fabrizio at Psych-Up records.....

This is a band from Naples called Controtempo (late 90s-early00s) who recorded some tracks but never got an album released.  They are considering trying to put together the tracks for a possible release. Fabrizio invited me to share these songs, any comments/feeback on these two songs would be welcomed by them I'm sure.  Enjoy.

When I'm home I'll check Youtube for a few tracks, I think you might realy enjoy it! Especially the second half of the album really turns out well!

I just noticed there's a few more samples you've added above I hadn't seen til now, so I'll give them a go tonight too!

I'm admittedly not very familiar with Italian prog or RPI or whatever you want to call it. When I think of "Italian" I think of pizza. Maybe also meatballs and spaghetti and lasagna too. Tongue

I'll do that. I know PFM, Banco, the New Trolls and little bit of Balleto di bronzo, Goblin, Area and Le Orme and a few others. It seems to go really deep.

If you like what you've heard by Goblin, check out Claudio Simonetti's band Daemonia, the pre-Goblin band Cherry Five, plus Rustichelli & Bordini's Opera Prima, Il Baricentro's two great prog-jazz albums Sconcerto and Trusciant, Libra's Schock and Fabio Frizzi's amazing soundtrack for The Beyond.
