Welcome Daria. From Ukraine, you might be aware of the artist Roksana (Vikaluk). 'Barwy' was recorded live in Poland (my birth country) and is some nice ethereal heavenly folk music
Hi lucas! Nice to see someone from East Europe No, I did not know her, must check her out ! I sadly rather rarely come to Ukraine now, so I am more aware of Austrian culture than Ukrainian lol, which is also a bit sad... thank you for the tip :)!!
I was born in Przemysl, maybe you know, it's in the South-East of Poland, 30 km from the frontier with Ukraine.
Austria has a lot of excellent composers (Schubert, Berg, Mozart, Scoenberg, Bruckner, Mahler, and one that is terribly overshadowed, Rebay).
Also some dark krautrock in the band called Paternoster.
Hello lucas! Ok, I looked it up - wow that's really close to Ukraine - and Lviv is also not far away :) Yes, I like Austrian classical composers :)
Paternoster - I think I heard the name, but I have to look for them!
What is funny in Austria - today, esp in Vienna a prog/ prog metal/ post rock scene is flowering in the underground... but they are all pretty dark too (maybe the modern Austrian mentality :/ ) , except for a band which I like most of this new wave of young proggers, MILK+ ; also there are young proggers like Palindrome, Phi, Mother's Cake ...
here is the newest MILK+ video: I think they are by far the most professional prog musicians in the prog scene in Vienna, attending music university, and it's their 3rd album in spite of being young (around age 27)

thank you everyone !! Yeah, Yes and Pink Floyd are among my favourites :)
here is a demo version of one of my band's songs (rather classic rock , but we also have proggy things in our channel) :) I thought I 'd post it directly, because facebook is a bit confusing (with all the different links) :-O
Hello and welcome prog girl Daria, nice to have another lady in the house! I enjoyed the "Struggle", the vocals are nice full and rich, very good!
I am a big fan of the Queen II album, Father to Son (Zepplin like but majestic), White Queen (beauty and majestic), March of the Black Queen (dark and majestic), and the Fairy Fellers Master Stroke (just naughty and a tad funky)...anyway, I digress...glad you are here.
thank you very much !! Very glad you did like it and thank you for your kind words and welcome ! Cool, happy to see so many people here who like Queen and their early albums !
