HA! Desistindo clavinet, we had one at school, the sound was more like electric piano and guitarish like. I don't know much about them (nothing in fact) however that one didn't impress me much.

"Rubbish" is a bit harsh ... but I know what you mean about those who had to put up with its little idiosincracies (eg, not working), but think of prog rock without it, eh? For the purposes of the poll, though, absolutely hands down, no contest - has to go to mankind's greatest invention of the 20th Century (yes, yes, yes, including penicillin & the post-it note ) - the mighty Hammond! |

Can't really imagine early Genesis without it. But even so I never really loved the 'tron. It's ok at atmospheres occasionally. Now.....I'll go and hide.
