I still see leaves, and they still rustle.  You just have to listen.

Now of course it is raining and cold.  Time to watch football
Broken teeth, a shattered jaw
Ten to one, behold my God
Wicked sons of Heaven’s loss
Raise your own inverted cross

Storm the Gates of Hell-Demon Hunter

It’s a perfect day, sunny and 18°C. The forecast looks good too:

Going out for lunch now.

10mm of snow, the roads are slushy and the idiots are at large - what fun.

Cold and cloudy.
A thin layer of snow, no good snowball snow.
More cold and snow have been predicted.
Only zero or less degrees Celsius have been predicted for the following days.

For the first time this winter we stayed in the minus throughout the day. I don't expect this to change during the remaining hours.

Edit: It has started to snow Disapprove.

We have snow too - been falling steadily for the past six hours with no sign of abating, looks to be about 4cm deep at the moment and it's currently -3°C outside, and inside it doesn't feel much warmer. Since this is England the country has ground to a halt and no doubt this will be the major news story for the rest of the weekend.

I'll go for a walk later and take some obligatory photographs of snow covered trees and fields.
What?

The plains of Dutchistan have turned white last Tuesday... Wednesday morning a minimum of  -13°C.
Now (14:28 CET) it's just below zero with the sun shining through a thin layer of clouds.

We had "severe weather advisory" here last night, warning that the roads might have ice early this morning.  Not a huge deal for most places, but we're not used to snow and ice here, so the whole city goes into a bit of a panic.  As it happened, this morning was fine and I made it to work on time.  Temperature is still right around the freezing point though.   Strange because less than a week ago it was about 21 degrees Celsius here.  (I converted to Celsius in deference to the fact that virtually every other country but ours uses that system).
