I have just ordered that CD from Greg Walker - just under 15 poonds sterling but that completes my Nexus collection - so thanks a bundle mate - I shall probably be using him again - seems like a very good source of progressive music.

yeah, Greg is so awesome.  sometimes i just go over there to browse.  it's a true cyber record store.  i would like to support my local music shops, but they are so stuck up and would literally laugh me out of the store if i ordered tfk from them.  although, i did get the last steven wilson at one last year.  the record stores here in atlanta are either ultra hip or alt. country/singer songwriter stuff.

I notice Greg Walker has a few real rarities on there.  I won't mention 'em or someone might beat me to it .  Let me know what you're getting rid of .  There must be a few good 'uns in there to be had.

I was thinking it would be interesting to list our favourite albums of the new millenium, you know to compare and contrast.  I'll have to have a think and post mine in the next day or 2.  However, do we include albums from the year 2000 or not?  I'd say no, as the new millenium actually started on 01.01.01.  However, that would mean Space Revolver could not be no.1 on my list!!

When I said de-clutter I mainly meant - books, clothes and all the wifes stuff  I don't think I could part with any of my prog CD's - that would be like giving away pints of my blood....hohoho

Never chuck anything out - I got rid of all my kids old childish duvet covers and the Power-rangers set went for over 100 quid - rare you see and a three way bidding war ensued...I also got 35 quid for a scooby doo set...wouldn't mind but those two only cost about 6 pounds each when we bought em.....

Roj, I'm in agreement with Barney on this one, it's a great album.  I will agree that Keyholder is a better album, but really, they are not all that different.  I'd say the edge that keyholder has is mostly due to Roine's greater input in the writing and arranging.  Notes was completely a Hans Lundin creation, with Roine just acting as the guitarist mostly.

In any case, I got it when it first came out, after hearing it played in full on one of the internet prog radio stations.  I loved it.  Keyholder eclipsed it later, but it's still easily my second favorite of the 2000's Kaipa albums.

None of the Kaipa stuff is as good as any Flower Kings album though, I'll grant that.

The Kaipa stuff I enjoy, but it doesn't blow me away.  I like the sounds, production and dynamics.  At some point I'll collect some more.

do y'all think that prog fans listen more to stuff they feel like they should/would like.  i'm just curious.  Kaipa is a great example...they sound good, but don't blow me away.  however, i've spent time listening to the because i feel like i have/want to get into them.
