Thank you, Pierre, didn't know you could just filter the search like that on his site!

Now, a more personal challenge for you, can you think of any RPI albums you've seen cheap on Amazon that you would recommend I snap up? Something not from one of the more high-profile names perhaps?

Or is this probably a bit too vague?!

Pierre, going through that Xian list, almost NONE available on Discogs.com!

Of course, I'm not really surprised....

They've all been sold in the seventies at the exit of the Church. Ying Yang

Likely now sitting in a box in a leaky basement of some aging church-goers as we speak, Pierre!

Wow, look at this....the artwork for the various LP/CD/Italian/English new releases from Zuffanti!

La Maschera di Cera - Le Porte del Domani/The Gates of Tomorrow

Hmmm, just a whiff of Le Orme's Felona and Serona going on here?!

Beautiful. I often think to buy Lp's just for the cover.

I used to just instantly try to buy the LP version, Pierre, but now I like a good combination of both. However, when the artwork is as grand and striking as this, I usually choose the LP! Looks wonderful!

Have to say, I'm really starting to like the `mini LP' CD packaging for the RPI stuff! Do you have many of them yourself, Pierre?

Yes, maybe half of my collection are Mini Lp Cd. Japanese or BTF. The Japanese editions of Osanna's Palepoli, Opus Avantra's Lord Cromwell, PFM' L'isola di niente or Le Orme's Contrappunti .. etc, sound incredibly well.

I have quite a few Japan and BTF minis....the Japan ones have a certain prestige  but I like the BTF ones better as they often include nicer liner notes, photos...
...that moment you realize you like "Mob Rules" better than "Heaven and Hell"

Yes! I've only got a few so far (the rest are all either on vinyl or standard jewelcase CD/digipacks, etc), but I find it kind of gives them a unique and special appeal! Makes them stand out from all your other albums!

Thank you, gentlemen, I've off to sleeep!

^ I wanted to comment on that yesterday when you brought it up. I always liked that album, it's very special and unique. That 10 minute track is my fav out of the album.

Unique album recorded live. Bad sound but something magic in this one. The Jim's review is beyond words.

Pierre, I heard that Buon Vecchio Charlie album many years ago (think it also had a different cover?), if I recall it was an album recorded in the 70's but not released until these days?

I'm sure it was damn good too, though I haven't heard it in years!

It's a grower, Michael, like so many RPI albums. That why I love that music so much. It always wins in the end.
