What does it matter if they started it or not I don't have to like them though I do respect them for their quirkyness

Did anyone even ask you to kiss the KC butt? You just have to recognize the merits of their music. Besides, it does matter that they started it because last time I checked they were huge influence on Genesis.

It is always the case (last time I checked). It don't matter whether you intended to be offensive or not. I'm not planning on giving you a whole lecture on polit-correctness.

You guys are practically saying that,  and Genesis did things their own way for the most part

Their way probably wouldn't be there without KC's way. It's what I call "influence". But they didn't quite want to imitate the Crims. They had medievalism and weird-a$$ stories on their side. That's what I call "originality".

^ For the last time, it's not about their appeal. And influence =/= originality.

^ If it's not a very personal question, then why are you even asking?

^ That's because the irrelevance of KC's appeal to you (whereas we've been discussing KC's merits, not appeal) has been mentioned a few times, and I bet that nobody here likes to repeat himself.

Obviously originality and influence are different, you weren't paying attention. Can I ask you something??? since it's been you who seems to get offended by what I'm saying

Or maybe it's because you did not properly formulate your response.

Maybe you don't know what exactly constitutes a personal question. It's not the behavior in general.
