In case I don't get another chance (yeah, right, I'm on here all the damn time! ), I just want to say in particular to my RPI friends:

Jim, both Andrea's, Dread, Chris, Todd, Pierre, Sagi, Paul, AEP Jim and the energetic newie Kati/Sonia...

Thanks so much for making this awful year for me so much easier, for constantly fuelling my passion for progressive music, and especially RPI, for providing so many laughs, for sharing so many wonderful musical suggestions and just your all-round genuine personalities and friendship!

Onwards and upwards for us all in 2013!

Right back at ya!

And Merry Christmas to the RPI team and fans - love it in the den, I'm always inspired here - just can't afford to get everything I like the look of (sigh). Smile

Back at ya Ash and always nice when you stop....i know you're a busy guy at Club Jazz as well....

To all here in the Den and especially the Den master-of-ceremonies, Mr. Pierre, I wish you a Merry Christmas.  My duck friend, here's hoping with fingers crossed that you manage to avoid being on someone's dinner platter on the big day.

Lots of bands on the RPI main page to check out, and more new ones coming in 2013.  ViolinSax manCool

Merry Christmas my dear Italiano fetishistsHug
I am listening to Stormy Six'  L'Apprendista at the moment and I am loving every minute of it. No Christmas music though - I'll let my enemies and old school teachers have that all to them selvesEvil Smile

Nice to see the original, Jim. Let's end the year where, for me, all has begun.

A mega rarity from 1980. The song  "Tunedless II" is beautiful.

Pierre, that `Tunedless 2' track from 1987 you posted is very interesting....Essentially electronic and droning, but with an unsettling and hypnotic orchestral element, and some spiritual touches, that brings a bit of a sense of tension? It IS very downbeat and quite lonely music, yet beautiful at the same time.

Thank you for sharing as always, my friend, another fascinating offering.

You're welcome Michael. Many stars of the Avant garde movement on this album. That period is really to dig !

Thanks Pierre. I just love that album. Even as crazy as it is, I still feel a very strong and heartfelt connection with it. I wrote in my review something about eating oranges straight from the tree in big yellow surroundings, and that very same feel is still there in full force. I go on a vacation to Italy every time I put this album on.

Thank you big time for the song Jim.
Classic crooning style with a big fat cherry on top.
What can I say, the man's got skills...

Guys, I picked this up for $6 today at a local music sale....what a commercial Australian top 40 music shop was doing stocking a single copy of this album I have NO idea...!

Accordo dei Contrari - Kinesis:

I LOVED their second album `Kublai', is this one just as good?

I would listen now, but I'm off the bed, I'm on nightshift, so I should have been in bed asleep three hours ago! :(

In other words....goodnight everyone!
