No.

After all, he saved progressive rock genre with Discipline the album.
he didn't save prog rock with Discipline,
remember the band was on hiatus from 75-80 I 'd argue that Rush saved
prog rock when others were either going extinct or "selling out" with 2112-Moving Pictures then they came back with Discipline, all you guys are acting as if Fripp is god or something, I know I'm gonna hear about it from someone
You are gonna hear that a lot around here. And Fripp is God. Ask Jesus.

Still waiting for more silly laughs.

Fripp ain't God, he just is a nice human being who doesn't like pictures and gets praised by people who think they know all about music, nobody knows everything about music, sorry to tell you that

^ This is how you extend an intelligent argumentative conversation? By turning one of my beliefs against me? How can you tell that I've never heard the band?

No one around here (that I know or remember of) has ever claimed, explicitly or implicitly, that they know everything about music. What you are doing here is assuming, filling in the blanks by yourself, which is a dangerous practice when it comes down to argumentation.

you fail to see that those songs are indeed repetitive and nothing special

Please, he's anything except  a a nice human, the guy is a jerk, arrogant, offensive and aggressive with the fans who pay his way of life.

He's good that's undeniable, I don't believe he's as good as he considers himself, but it's only my opinion..

1) What makes you think that I fail to see repetition within their songs?
2) What is wrong with songs being repetitive? And why are we even discussing repetition within songs?
3) Whether something is special or not is really subjective. I don't know why I have keep reminding that to some people.

I'll answer those for you
1) What makes you think that I fail to see repetition within their songs? You haven't shown or displayed that they are
2) What is wrong with songs being repetitive? It becomes really irritating like some horrible hip-hop artist (Tyga for example) And why are we even discussing repetition within songs? Because I brought it up
3) Whether something is special or not is really subjective.: true that's what my opinion is  I don't know why I have keep reminding that to some people

you understand betterSmileSmileSmile

^ I really don't. Please focus on one thing at a time. It's a bad idea to "stream" multiple topics at the same time.

he didn't save prog rock with Discipline, remember the band was on hiatus from 75-80 I 'd argue that Rush saved prog rock when others were either going extinct or "selling out" with 2112-Moving Pictures then they came back with Discipline, all you guys are acting as if Fripp is god or something, I know I'm gonna hear about it from someone

When I said "he saved progressive rock genre", I have in mind British progressive rock giants where Mr Fripp belong.

Sorry because I wasn't say it exactly.

That means nothing that the band was 5 years on hiatus.

On contrary, Mr Fripp was stopped his vehicle right in the time.

I'm old and I was 17 who already heard many LPs from 70s ( what a progrock fan as a young kid have to have in that time), when Discipline was released; I get that LP few weaks after THE album was released via an ancient mail from London.

I remmember the day when I heard that opening track intro from my ancient JBL4312 monitor speakers.

It was a really fresh air.

p.s. Fripp is not god. Clapton is god Confused

So, when you say "repetitive", do you mean that KC repeat some passages/ideas in their songs, or do you mean that they repeat other artists?

Damn it, you are doing it again. You are splitting a conversation into branches. You'll never convince anyone of your beliefs that way.

1) Please, stop asking me whether or not I've heard a KC album. I've spent a couple of years listening to them. Why do you think I have Fripp as my avatar? Just to show everyone that I heard the guy and I love him and the band (without actually meaning that)? Has it ever occurred to you that it would be a very pretentious thing to do on my part? Why do you think I'd do that? Why are you questioning my motives?

2) I've never heard of Tyga, and right now I don't care who that is.

3) You know that you can still download KC and Fripp's albums, right?
