When he heard his first Beatles song Love Me Do, I think it was And from there it didn't take him long Johnny got a guitar, used to play it every night Now he's in a rock and roll outfit, and everything's all right two observations: The pacing of the narrative is a bit whacked. That's a lot of historical ground for just the first verse. If the had just ended the song here, Johnny would have been much happier, don't you knowwwww. |
