feedtime - Sad and Lonely and Blue

Australian grungy art punk band (think of a cross between early Wire and Flipper) from the mid 80s.  From their 3rd album which was all deconstructed covers of classic old songs, done artfully and imaginatively.  This one is of an old Easybeats tune (another Australian group), and I think it may capture the sadness of the song even better than the original.

An instrumental today:

Heh I was just about to post something similar to your track of the day. I'm glad we're trading bits and pieces of sonic manna Steve. Always a pleasure.

Anyway, regarding Dungen - you really can't go wrong with any of their releases. One of those bands who've never released a bum album.
Once you start to hear the whole sausage though, you'll most likely hear where Aussie psych rockers got their mojo from. It's almost uncanny.
