Mmm... not sure, but I guess if you made a poll between "In the Court" and either Foxtrot, Selling England, and perhaps even The Lamb, any of those Genesis albums would win. However, in this case, I guess I would vote for the King Crimson album, for every Genesis album I know has some song that kind of ruins the greatness of the album as a whole (and as a matter of fact, I don't really like The Lamb so much at all). Granted, "In the Court" has Moonchild, but I actually like the "song" part very much, though the ambient part is far too long, but in the end it doesn't ruin the album the same way "Battle of Epping Forest" ruins Selling England for me.

King Crimson, by a landslide. I almost fell asleep to Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound. King Crimson also has a longer record of consistently good releases.

King Crimson easily
They flutter behind you your possible pasts,
Some bright-eyed and crazy, some frightened and lost.

Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Selling England, Wind & Wuthering, Foxtrot can all compete with that overrated and overhyped album

Well at least King Crimson didn't sell out with cheesy junk like Abacab and Invisible Touch.

Keep it Prog, not just dark.

"It's really just a question of your honesty, yeah your honesty,"
My honest opinion is that it's the most overrated Prog Rock album, I understands its importance but give me a break

I understand that, but there is a reason why I put "exactly" in italics. What is it exactly about In The Court that bugs you?

Moonchild does not go anywhere I understand the experimentation but to me it just does not cut it and the title track, yeah I said it, it's way too repetitive and too much mellotron on it too that I get nausea. I don't mind mellotrons but here it's beaten to death
