Sounds good about the Correani CD, Jim, perhaps you or Todd could give a quick post on here if Greg is able to score some copies?

Pretty sure you've got the same De De Lind version I got. What a terrific album! Just started it yesterday on the way into work, had a couple of near-misses in the car from paying too much attention to the album!

Incredible, no ? After reading the page of tracks, it doesn't seem very interesting.

Here's a little firecracker of a song!

Circus 2000 - Io, La Strega (1970):

Stomping heavy female-fronted pysch, the singer has a bit of a Jefferson Airplane/Grace Slick toughness, I love it! I really dig the `ghostly' voice bits she does throughout!

Cool bashing drums, heavy distorted guitar, and the bass kicks in better about 45 seconds in and starts to really take off!

Shame the track kind of just fizzles out near the end, not much in the way of a big finale.

Hope you enjoy!

Nice Michael. I have their second album, but I prefer this roughside.

Pierre, one thing I picked up on with that song is that they sing in Italian on that one, yet from what I can tell (as I don't own either of them) both their studio albums have English vocals? Or at least the song titles are in English, so I'm just assuming?

Are those albums worth looking in to?

Greg's quote: "I'm on it!"
I'll post any updates as they come in.

Some people love those Circus 2000 albums. I think they're okay, but really the clips say everything you need to know about them.

I think it's one of the best albums ever came from Italy. And the only album by I NOMADI which could be considered progressive.
Songs of one of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters Francesco Guccini in beautiful arrangements by Vince Tempera (ex- IL VOLO, long time Guccini collaborator).

In my opinion essential for everyone interested in Italian rock music.

Gene!  I just scored a copy of this for $4.99!  I'm so happy, it was the last one at that price.  Otherwise the Amazon price is $28.  Now it was through a private vendor on Amazon, so until I have it in my hands.....I"m not counting my chickens.  But hopefully it shows upBig smile

Pierre, the Pane tracks remind me a LOT of French band Ange! With the quiet/loud stop/start moments, the violent outbursts, etc. Very intense!

MADRUGADA / INCASTRO 1976.

An underrated album in my opinion, maybe because it looks into too many directions (prog, jazz, rock, pop, ambient, ethnic ..etc)

Only that clip on youtube :

Hey guys, I think a while back there was a question about buying the Salis Dopo il Buio la Luce CD. I knew that you could somewhere, but I couldn't remember the website, and all the searches I did turned up empty. Mario Cottarelli just posted in another thread that his albums are now available at www.crotalo.it and I remembered that's the name of the site. They have quite a few hard to find items on that site. So give it a visit!

^ Cheers, Todd! Checking it now.

EDIT: Yeah, they've got it but I keep getting an error message when I try to buy.

Chris, I've ordered from that site before. I seem to remember that the Buy function didn't work, but that you had to send an email with the products you wanted. I already had the Salis and Cottarelli albums, I can't remember what I ordered,
