Our Biography:
Sunwell was created in early 2012 by Zakk Thrift, Chad Aiken, Trent Arant , and Trey Beatty. Drawing influence from acts such as Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Karnivool, Yes, King Crimson, Tool, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, among others, Sunwell tie together the jazzy sounds of 70's progressive and art rock with the heavier progressive metal sounds of today to create a soundscape all their own. Sunwell strive to create intricate music without becoming mired in the trap of overcomplication and needless technicality. Adherence to this belief sets Sunwell apart from similar bands and will project them into international success. Sunwell will soon be playing in a venue near you.
